Consider joining the Midwest Chapter Executive Board or
volunteer in some capacity.

Involved? |
Board
members attend board meetings regularly to help facilitate chapter activities
and programs, and raise funds for research and educational activities. |
| When
are these meetings? |
Meetings
are held the 3rd Thursday of each month from 12:00-2:30 with the exception
of July and December. Lunch is provided. |
| Where
are these meetings held? |
Meetings are
held in a conference room at Glenbrook Hospital, 2100 Pfingsten Road, Glenview,
Illinois. |
| What
would be expected of me to help? |
You
would be expected to support and participate in Chapter programs and activities to fulfill our mission.
"Ease the Burden. Find the Cure." To do this
in a successful manner, standing committees have been established; among
these are the Annual Educational Symposium for the Parkinson Community,
our Spring Golf Fund Raiser, the Annual Walk-a-Thon in September to raise
funds for research, Newsletter and Website involvement, etc. |
